You know you’re in a developing country when:

- You open the sugar bowl and you have to maneuver around the ants.

- There are 5 desert options on the menu at the restaurant but they only have freezer burnt chocolate ice cream.

- Your 7 year old comes out of the public restroom excited, screaming "mom they have toilet paper here"

- They have televised cock fights.

- When it rains during rainy season, you need to be aware of the local kids swimming in the street.
